The least they could have done is to give a discount on one of the rooms. The reception and duty ***agers were not forthcoming and just putting up a sorry face- sorry not acceptable at these rates. The breakfast spread was good and the attending staff was good. For all the heritage, this property claims, it’s nothing but a low-class dilapidated property, devoid of basic hygiene. Every 10 min the WiFi goes off and you run to the reception to get a new code. People depending on WiFi- please forget about this place. There was a movie shoot happening and while the service staff was ***aging things well to balance the inconvenience, the ***ager was indifferent. One room was ok size-wise, the other room was tiny. Hygiene was poor, dilapidated and full of mosquitoes. We booked two rooms in the “Awadh” Category but despite the high rates, the rooms were not just basic but not well kept. I always prefer heritage properties but this was not well maintained at all. Lucknow |1.32km from city center I had booked this place going by the reviews here.
